Data Compare and Sync

• Compare and Synchronize tables and columns for Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL. Compare and Sync can be found under the Tools menu.

What Do You Want to Do Window

•     After opening a new connection a What do you want to do? window offers a selection of windows to open.

•    Also, starting in build 636 the Oracle editor will use a beacon to show you the positional location of a syntax error.
•   Import from Excel offers option to create new table to insert rows into.

Quick Guide

• The Quick Guide start window displays the basic workflow of basic reporting needs – Understand where the data is stored, Query the data, and put the data in a Report to be published.  

• The Quick Guide is a navigational start window.  Select an entry point by clicking on the tool you would like to use – ER Diagram, Database Browser, Query Builder or SQL Editor.

Multi-Platform Support Including ODBC

• Connect to multiple databases from within the same application including: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and others using ODBC.

Configuration Wizard

• Use the Configuration Wizard to quickly customize Toad and ramp up productivity with familiar layouts.  The configuration Wizard is located from the Tools menu and from the drop down Options tool button.

Automation

• Automate repetitive tasks using fully integrated automation and scheduling utilities.
