Toad for Data Analysis is a multi-platform database tool designed for IT and Business Professionals who need to investigate and analyze their data. It empowers effective decision making by providing insight into business data, enables users to access and understand their data from any source, and streamlines the process of data collection ensuring the right information is delivered on time. .
The Query Builder now allows you to enter a SELECT statement in the Query tab and reverse engineer it into a visual representation on the Diagram tab.
Simply type or paste a SELECT statement into the editor on the Query tab and click on the Diagram tab to draw a diagram of the objects and relations in the SQL. The statement can contain calculated columns, WHERE, HAVING, GROUP BY, ORDER BY clauses, and sub SELECT statements.
Errors in the SELECT statement will be flagged in the editor and added to the Output window.
Edits made on the Query tab will be reflected in the diagram when the Diagram tab is clicked. Edits made on the Diagram tab will cause the Query tab to be updated thus overwriting the entered

The following user privileges are required for installing and running Toad for Data Analysis:
Only Administrators can install Toad.
This Beta version has not been tested in a Citrix environment.
Platform specific help is not available for this Beta. Information on Toad features can be found in the Toad for Data Analysis Beta 2.0 Help file available from the Windows Start menu under Program Files | Quest Software | Toad for Data Analysis | Documentation.
This section contains information about installing and operating this product in non-English configurations, such as those needed by customers outside of North America. This section does not replace the materials about supported platforms and configurations found elsewhere in the product documentation.
This release is Unicode-enabled and supports any character set. In this release, all product components should be configured to use the same or compatible character encodings and should be installed to use the same locale and regional options. This release is targeted to support operations in the following regions: North America, Western Europe and Latin America, Far-East Asia, Japan.
